Deborah Ledesma Cramer
04/27/56 - 12/23/09

Deborah "Debbie" Ledesma Cramer, age 53, passed away on December 23rd of 2009 after a 20 year battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. She had been in Colorado, waiting for a lung transplant. She was born in Sacramento California on April 27th 1956 to Gabriel Ledesma and Frances Roberts and was the 3rd out of 3 children. She graduated from Granite High in 1974 and soon after married her loving and supportive husband, Gary Cramer on 02/28/1976. She worked a variety of jobs, but especially enjoyed her time at St. Mark's hospital. Her pulmonary fibrosis forced her into early medical retirement. Throughout her illness and battle, she remained hopeful and exceeded all her healthcare providers' expectations by surviving beyond all estimates for life expectancy.

Deborah loved music (especially The Beatles) and singing. Early in her marriage she sang in a band with her husband. Additionally, she was especially good at cooking, which she enjoyed immensely. Bowling, hiking, fishing and hunting were all hobbies she enjoyed as well.

Even though her illness slowed her down, she remained active in whatever she was able to do. Her charismatic personality helped her make friends easily wherever she went. She loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Deborah is survived by her husband Gary Cramer, her children Rick Cramer, Denise Cramer, Donella Faulkner, Amanda Hill, and Gary Cramer Jr., 18 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, sister Eileen Davis, and brother Gerald Ledesma.

A viewing will be held on Monday 01/04/10 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and her funeral will be held Tuesday 01/05/10 at 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary & Cemetery on 6500 S. and Redwood Rd. A luncheon will be held immediately following the funeral at a LDS church house on 4720 W. and 5780 S. Condolences may be shared on this blog. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Deborah Cramer Memorial account at any America First Credit Union .
We want to say thank you to everyone's support and love during this time of loss.

Please note: If trying to contact Gary Cramer, please call him at his home phone number since the cell phone numbers are unavailable at this time. If you need to request his home phone number, please email the family at deborahcramerobit@gmail.com Thanks.

Dear Gary and Family,

We were so sorry to hear the news of Deborah's passing. She was always a wonderful person to be around and was always willing to help someone out when they needed it. She was a great team mate to have during the bowling season, and always had a great sense of humor, even when she was the only one who was bowling well that day. She will be terribly missed. All our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
